Jack Sprague (born August 8, 1964, in Spring Lake, Michigan) is a NASCAR driver. Sprague has finished in the top-ten in the points standings almost every year he has raced in the trucks, and won three championships in 1997, 1999, and 2001 while driving for Hendrick Motorsports. He is currently a free agent.

Daniel Brian Bylsma (BYLZ-mə; born September 19, 1970) is former professional hockey player who is currently the head coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins of the National Hockey League (NHL). He was hired to be the Penguins' head coach on February 15, 2009, replacing Michel Therrien. Prior to coaching the Penguins, he played as a forward in the NHL and coached in the American Hockey League (AHL). He was drafted in the sixth round (109th Overall) of the 1989 NHL Entry Draft, by the Winnipeg Jets. On June 12, 2009, four months after becoming head coach in Pittsburgh, Bylsma coached the Penguins to their third Stanley Cup Championship in 7 games over the Detroit Red Wings.
Henry "Butch" Miller (born June 5, 1952, in Coopersville, Michigan) is a racecar driver. He drives the #07 Toyota Tundra part-time in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series on a limited basis, and is also a crew chief for SS-Green Light Racing. He is a multiple champion in the now-defunct American Speed Association stock car series. Miller also drove a limited schedule in the 2005 Trans-Am Series.
Samuel Marinus Zwemer (April 12, 1867 – April 2, 1952), nicknamed The Apostle to Islam, was an American missionary, traveler, and scholar. He was born at Vriesland, Michigan. In 1887 he received an A.B. from Hope College, Holland, Mich., and in 1890, he received an M.A. from New Brunswick Theological Seminary, New Brunswick, N. J.. His other degrees include a D.D. from Hope College in 1904, a L.L.D. from Muskingham College in 1918, and a D.D. from Rutgers College in 1919.

The New York Times described his painting style as "vibrant, playful, semi-abstract landscapes" while New York Sun art critic John Goodrich compared him to French painter Bonnard. Hatton's abstract landscapes have been compared to paintings by Arthur Dove and Georgia O'Keeffe because of his "unbridled love of pure, hot color" similar to Gaughin and the Fauves, according to critic Ann Landi of ARTnews. Hatton's vision is of "a nature that you can literally eat with your eyes, eye candy transposed onto the entire world," according to critic Joel Silverstein. Hatton lives and works in New York City.
